What discounts are available?
There are a number of discounts available to reduce the price of your touring caravan insurance premium, to a maximum of 55% reduction. All of our discounts are available online and will apply to all caravanners, even where an approved security device or storage requirement is a condition of the policy.
It is also worth noting that in each case the discount offered applies to 100% of the premium, not the net of earlier discounts. For example, where you qualify for two stated discounts of 20%, with Club Care Insurance you would receive a total of 40% discount. Others insurers may apply 20% for the first, then 20% on the remaining 80% – which actually gives a discount of only 36%.

- Up to 2.5% discount for flat tyre protection (such as Tyron safety bands)
- Up to 2.5% discount for a TyrePal tyre pressure monitoring system
- 2.5% for AL-KO ATC Trailer Control
Security discounts
- Up to 10% discount when your caravan is fitted with a proactive tracker or tracking device
- Up to 10% discount for an approved wheel lock (such as AL-KO Secure Wheel Lock)
- Up to 5% discount for caravans with a factory fitted alarm
Storage discounts
- 12.5% discount for storing in a CaSSOA Platinum Site
- 10% discount for storing in a CaSSOA Gold Site
Towing experience discounts
- Up to 10% discount for completing The Camping and Caravanning Club’s manoeuvring course (5% beginners, 10% advanced)
